Property Auctions Spain is a family business managed by Phil and Lucy Shipley, we've been living in the South of Spain since June 2004 with our two young children. Like many people we were fed up of the grey skies of England and keen to give our kids a different life - we took the plunge and have never looked back!
In the past seven years we have lived for on the Costa del Sol, amongst the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas and also for three years we lived 30 minutes inland from the Coast in a traditional Spanish village, we have experienced both worlds and we can tell you first hand the pros and cons. After seven years we've done Spanish schooling, Spanish healthcare, Spanish property, got to grips with the Spanish language and even worse the bureaucracy and working in Spain... you name it we can give you some advice from our experience or point you to an expert who can help.
We love Spain and we want to help other people experience what life has to offer here, but we're realistic too and know that because of family commitments, work and other issues - ex-pats often have to relocate back to UK . We strive to offer good service and personal attention, expertise and knowledge of life in Spain, with low commissions and a speedier buying/selling process for both vendor and buyer.
